The project studied financial behavior in terms of savings and long-term investments among Israeli young adults aged 20-30. The study was based on a review of the literature on financial literacy, learning methods and behavioral economics; a survey (N=102) on financial literacy, structured interviews, participation in expert lectures and ideation workshops. The findings point to significant gaps in understanding basic financial concepts such as management fees, investment track, and interest, as well as lack of awareness of managing products such as pension and education funds. Through design thinking, we developed solutions that combine microlearning – a learning method based on brief and frequent content units – with platforms such as Instagram and WhatsApp.
