Reclaim ownership of our time and attention

Technological products improve our lives in many ways, but also distract us and take away precious time. Without identifying the phenomenon and developing tools to cope with it, we easily turn to modern technology whenever we need to escape. In order for us to continue reaping the benefits but also minimize the negative effects, we must regain the ability to choose how to use our time, and focus on what deserves our attention.

One of the ways to do so is to define what we want to do and increase our awareness of that while we do it. Dhyana is here to help, using a two-stage solution:

Stage 1: Intent: Before starting a new activity, dhyana shines with a soothing white light, which indicates transition between activities and sharpens the users’ intent to devote their time and attention to the new activity.

Stage 2: Grounding: After activation, dhyāna’s white light leads the users through two breathing cycles adjusted to their situation, and then synchronizes with their heartbeats for the duration of the entire activity. This conscious breathing work and the heartbeat simulation help calm the nervous system and enhance awareness of physical presence.

Together, these stages help increase awareness of events and regain control over where our attention is directed.
